No role for Vidya Balan in Ishqiya 2
It was highly expected that Vidya Balan will be seen in the forthcoming sequel of “Ishqiya”, for which she won four film awards. But reports suggest that there is no role for Vidya in director Abhishek Chaubey’s “Ishqiya 2”. However, the male lead, Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah, will continue their roles in the sequel.
An insider recently revealed that according to Ishqiya 2 script, that is being written by director of the film Abhishek Chaubey, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi will fall in love again but this time with two different girls. It means there will be two lead female roles in the film and none of them is planned for Vidya.
Moreover, for one of the two lead actresses the filmmakers have approached to Madhuri Dixit and she said a ‘yes’ for the project. But, she demanded a very high fee. So the filmmakers have not confirmed her immediately but are now thinking about it.
Bad news for Vidya, who was asking Bollywood badshah Shahrukh Khan and Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman to star with her in Ishqiya 2.
